Clustering Support
Offers service high-availability through separation of the Axigen services on different tiers (front-end and back-end), LDAP (OpenLDAP / Active Directory) synchronization, routing and authentication features (allowing service providers to centrally manage and retrieve customer account settings or deploying centralized security policies etc), SMTP routing to back-end, POP3 / IMAP / WebMail proxies, RH Cluster Suite integration.
Delegated Administration
Create multiple administrative users and groups with predetermined membership hierarchies and permissions, having limited administrative rights, thus allowing the delegation of administrative tasks for a specific domain / sub-domain or even for specific domain / sub-domain operations (such as creating and managing new users, mailing lists, groups etc).
Account Classes
Create different classes (groups) of accounts, in order to provide basic and premium users, with differentiated service levels (such as allowed services, message size quota, enabled filters etc). Account classes allow applying default domain settings as well as account-specific exceptions. Restrictions for email sending/receiving to / from certain email addresses can also be defined. Changes to domain-wide settings or account classes are dynamically propagated to all accounts.
Antivirus & Antispam
Native integration with: SpamAssassin, ClamAV, AVG and Commtouch. Milter integration with any antivirus / antispam (or other third-party) using the Milter protocol: avast!, Avira, Nod32, F-PROT, Kaspersky, BitDefender, Brightmail.
Reporting Engine
Over 100 customizable graphs and statistics to monitor the server's health: server parameters (such as system load, message queue size, inbound traffic, storage utilization etc.) can be collected and reported every minute; administrators can then generate reports at server, domain and sub-domain levels that can be further aggregated in charts or exported in XML or CSV formats. SMTP Server
SMTP / ESMTP protocols implementation. Multiple actions can be taken at this level, including: activity logging, encryption and authentication, access control / whitelisting / blacklisting, usage restrictions, connection control, SPF and DomainKeys verification, restricting maximum message size, maximum number of relay servers an incoming message passed through etc, SSL / TLS connections, SMTP authentication, various security policies.
POP3 & IMAP Server
POP3/IMAP protocols implementation. At this level, multiple actions can be taken: activity logging, encryption and authentication, access control, IP whitelisting / blacklisting, usage restrictions, connection control, sub-folder support.
WebMail Server
Brandable WebMail interface localized in over 20 languages (via built-in HTTP server) with customized look and feel, personal, domain and public Address Book, RPOP connections, Rules and filters (Outlook-like), HTML email composer, Out-of-office messages, Individual blacklists, Temporary email addresses, Read receipts. Desktop-like experience for users. A Mobile WebMail interface is also available.
WebAdmin Console
Configure service specific parameters using Axigen's comprehensive WebAdmin interface designed for optimized navigability, with quick links and contextual help. Single Point Administration - the interface provides configuration of all Axigen services in a unified manner, both locally and remotely.
List Server
Provides advanced mailing lists administration options. System administrators can create and edit mailing lists, set rules regarding their content type, what messages require moderation, member subscriptions / un-subscriptions procedures, posting rights, message headers and templates.
Automatic Migration
The dedicated engine ensures an automatic and transparent migration process. All domains, accounts and mailboxes from any legacy mail server are easily migrated to Axigen via IMAP, without service interruptions. The Automatic Migration feature can be enabled / disabled for each Axigen domain by using the Web Administration interface.
Online Backup and Restore
Perform online back-up / restore actions using any FTP client (including standard Web browsers); partial or full restore (e.g. restore just one domain, account or even email folder). Technology partnerships with MailArchiva, ArcMail.
Premium SP Users vs. Basic SP Users
* Premium Service Provider users have access to all Axigen Core Features, with various optional add-ons such as Personal Organizer, Groupware, Wireless Mobile Sync (BlackBerry® included), AVG etc.
* Basic Service Provider users (also called Barebone users) offer support for all Axigen Core Features, except for WebMail access (namely the WebMail Server and Web Mobility functionalities).
